New pricing starts low compared with most trucks, and used Mavericks are even cheaper, making this a budget-friendly choice. Compact but capable, the Maverick is easy to live with daily parking, commuting, errands, etc. while still offering truck-like utility like a bed you can use for gear and light hauling. It can tow up to about 4,000 lbs when properly equipped, good for trailers, small boats, and work trailers in many everyday situations. Most vehicles lose a significant portion of their value in the first couple years. A used Maverick especially a 20222024 with reasonable miles can be very low cost per mile owned compared with buying new. Depreciation on Mavericks tends to leave decent resale value but still make used pricing appealing.
